SNOWDEN'S ASYLUM IN LATIN AMERICA?
SNOWDEN MIGHT MOVE TO LATIN AMERICA-
US "WHISTLEBLOWER" Edward Snowden remained stranded in a Moscow airport for the 14th day, Saturday amid rising hopes he may finally be able to leave Russia after being offered asylum by Venezuela and Nicaragua.
14 DAYS HAD PASSED WITH VERY FEW HOPES THAT EDWARD SNOWDEN MIGHT BE GIVEN ASYLUM. BUT AMONGST ALL THE SPECULATIONS, ON FRIDAY NIGHT, VENEZUELA'S LEFTIST PRESIDENT NICOLAS MADURO SAID THAT VENEZUELA WILL PROVIDE ASYLUM TO SNOWDEN ON "HUMANITARIAN GROUNDS".
ALSO, MOMENTS EARLIER NICARGUA PRESIDENT, DANIEL ORTEGA SAID THAT THEY CAN PROVIDE ASYLUM TO ED SNOWDEN IF THE CIRCUMSTANCES PERMIT. SNOWDEN HAS BEEN DENIED ASYLUM IN MANY COUNTRIES IN WHICH HE APPLIED. THIS COMES AS A RAY OF HOPE FOR SNOWDEN AND HIS FOLLOWERS.
